working hard in school

Should not have tried the tofu lasagna from 15 minutes cause I don't like eating tofu.. If you like tofu then perhaps its nice for you. I only like that layer of cheese on top. Shall try chicken parmigiana next time :) And as usual, the fries are so good :)

Our territory after school, where we do our work now cause I heard the basement is now close aft classes. I am not so crazy as some of my classmates who stayed over in school for a few weekends already. And they are planning to stayover agn from ytd till Monday. Hardcore students.

I know its quite ugly haha I can't control chinese ink well, but freaky Dahlia picked my work as a work that she thinks has met the objective to talk about it during a 4 classes critique session.

Another 18 more days to assessment! Has been pretty tough lately but its gna be over soon! Sem 1 is gna be over so fast, seems like school just started not that long ago. I've confirmed my specialism course for next sem and next year, fashion comm. But we can only pick them as a cluster now so its all about fashion. My 2nd choice was design comm and 3rd fine arts. Hahaha I know my fine arts cannot make it but I didn't want to pick anything else. Well, we are most likely gna get into our 1st choice :)

Anyway, remember that singa lion i painted? Its going to be exhibited on 12-15 Nov @ Funan IT Mall, tgt with other people's lion. I am not sure which part of funan, how many lions will there be and what's it like. I'm gna go check it out myself when its out too :)

the chicken revenge

Hey hey this is a movie poster I did in my photoshop workshop. Ok so we're suppose to look into ourself, wht genre are we? And do a movie poster. All images have to been taken by ourself, no grabbing of images from the net or books etc. So I went to fort canning park to get background photos, and the rest were from random places. I had to buy the chicken to get the images and this chicken makes an awful sound when you squeeze its body but I really like its expression, really suit the idea I am working on.

Anyway, my idea was inspired by "Alice In Wonderland" movie. Its suppose to be a comedy movie cause I feel that I am quite funny? I make people laugh. Since its about me, I brainstormed and thought that I like to eat, especially chicken. And thought, in this real world, I eat a lot of chicken. Sooo the chickens kidnapped me and brought me to another world, resized me (a big me and a small me like Alice) and want to take revenge by eating me hence the movie title- The chicken revenge.

Next week I've a submission for my clay model of my face. Still working very hard on it cause it doesn't look like me a bit at all. One point in time I looked like a grandma, an elf, a monk, Confucius' son or daughter (can't even differentiate the gender).. But I'll post the final image of it once I've submitted it :) I'm loving school but I'm just really tired, hang on!

So its exactly a month to my assessment, its time to work triple times harder like a cow.. Shall just upload this lot of photos and go on a short hiatus here and there. Will upload when I have the time and with something to blog about.

Hahaha, retards. Btw, the hk milk tea (the giant one in the middle) is nice! Only valid 3 days before and after for those birthday babies from their birthdate. Example my birthday is on 20 oct, you can go there from 17 - 23 oct, with total purchases of $30 to get this free giant milk tea plus a birthday song played from the speaker haha.

a year older, a year wiser

Hi all I just turned 17. I want to thank everyone that had made a difference in 17 years of life and to all the wonderful people around me, always so loving, caring, thoughtful and fun to be with! Thank you God for creating me, thank you Mommy and Daddy for taking care of me, I know its been tough raising me up haha. And to all love ones who love me, I love you back! :)

Say hi to my Singa lion :)

Was selected to paint this lion so I did some research and decided to paint the lion this way, at the same time applying what I've learnt from 2D studies so far.

Last week was a really busy week. Was so tired and couldn't finish some of my work so I skipped lecture and 3D class :/ very bad, shall have a better time management and not skip classes. Ok time to get back to work and have some fun later in the evening with Arella, Shawn and my sister for a mini celebration for my upcoming birthday in 4 days time :)
