O Little Town

Monki knit, American Apparel Disco pants, Forever 21 bag, Gianna Versace vintage sunglasses, DIY collar

In Hainan. I enjoy roaming around little stalls like these. Although there're nothing much for me to purchase, I find it interesting to see what are the things they sell based on their culture which are things I don't get to see that often around. School's starting tomorrow!

P.S: I think its time I should get new concealer. Its getting dull on my face...Pardon.

December

An update of last month...

Satisfied my Marche cravings with Graceilia & Sarah, and received my belated birthday present which was a CD. In it is a video they made together with a song they sang!

Current scent which I love.

Dreams And Reality...Finally got to see Van Gogh's Starry Night right in front of me!

Another craving I had to satisfy especially during the school break.

A shot I took of the moon during the day of eclipse.

Do It Yourself lunch I made with my Mom.

Dim sum with my family in celebration of my Dad's birthday at Swatou restaurant. And my sister is a big fan of Har Kow.

Two collars I sew, wish I had more fabrics to experiment with.

Hainan. A rare sight to see cows cultivating along the long roads in China. A great opportunity to escape from city life for a moment and look at a different view of the world.

On board Logos Hope with Grace and Arella.

Mini books I bought on the cruise. So cute!

Hainan

Some pictures I took in Hainan, more to come! Just checked my class list and timetable...My second year's second semester is about to begin. Which also reminds me that I'd have to sacrifice my precious sleep and leisure. But having said that, I'm glad that I'm finally going to study what I wanted since the time I want to come to Lasalle. So here I am! I've got several things to prepare for school, goodbye for now!

tsim sha sui

Zara dress, Calvin Klein blazer, DIY collared shirt, Hat and Celine-esque bag both from Hong Kong

Few snaps along the busy Nathan Road at Tsim Sha Sui just outside my guesthouse. Isn't this your first time seeing me in a hat? This is the last week of my holiday, I hope to rest well and enjoy this very last bit before my life, literally, gets taken away. I spent today with few friends photo shooting and filming! Outdoor shoots are always very taxing, especially in the harsh weather we're in, but I feel a sense of accomplishment reflecting back on the whole process and looking at what's being shot. My first time doing a film, worked together with a very good friend of mine, so I'm pretty excited to edit and see the end product! Will share some on the blog once I'm done collating and editing, lots of work to complete on post-shooting behind the laptop.

christmas in hainan

H&M Basics top, H&M knit cardigan, DIY skirt, UO tights, Forever 21 bag

This was what I wore on the last day of my trip to Hainan Island which was Christmas that day. Hainanese there do not really celebrate Christmas so there wasn't much Christmas mood around. So, its already 2012! I spent my New Year's Eve in church, watched the fireworks at Marina from my church, chit chat and ended up having 2 hours of sleep before the usual Sunday service, had to conquer dozing off to keep myself still awake throughout.

A little recap of 2011: I felt that it was a year I thought a lot. Whereby I think about my life and future and then I made a few relatively big decisions. I'm also very very thankful for my family and friends who went through the year together with me. For all the guidance, teachings, encouragements, prayers, joy etc we all shared, I will always cherish & be grateful. 2011 has a been year where there's definitely ups & downs and a lot of challenges but I learnt to have faith in God and overcome them. In fashion, I started to change my style step by step and focused the content of my blog if you looked back into the archives but of course, there's a lot more for me to improve and work on which I will. It is also a year I started to take fitness more seriously, to be exact, starting June. I felt I've grown a lot this year spiritually in God, mentally and physically (oops). I end of 2011 with a thankful heart & a heart open up to challenges I'll face, knowing that God will be always there to guide me!
